OUR WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS
Every year we help run the seminars and workshops for the new JETs during the JET Pre-Departure Orientation. Our presentation covers topics including:
- Daily Life of a JET
- Driving in Japan
- Japanese Language Tips
- Money and Finance
- Teaching and School Life
- The School Calendar
We also have a short guide for JETs, a distillation of sempai knowledge and experience: JETting Off - Our Guide for New JETs
HELPING EX-JETS SETTLE IN
We understand how difficult the transition can be when trying to settle back home. Read about our post-JET careers workshops, and see the jobs on our Jobs board. Please contact us anytime with what you're looking for.
We recommend that you create a LinkedIn profile for your job seeking purposes. While it can be more effective for some industries than others, it can help you organise your content for your resume writing, and is a handy online resource if you ever forget dates, locations or names. Connect with alumni online - start with connecting with our LinkedIn profile, or follow our LinkedIn company page for job updates.
