We recommend that you create a LinkedIn profile for your job seeking purposes. While it can be more effective for some industries than others, it can help you organise your content for your resume writing, and is a handy online resource if you ever forget dates, locations or names. The Association for Japan Exchange and Teaching (AJET) is a volunteer organisation of JET Programme participants. They have a lot of great resources, including information on mental health support and counselling.

The official JET Programme site has comprehensive guides for JETs, such as the General Information Handbook, and guides for ALTs and CIRs. Information about seminars, internships and after JET career support are also available.
