We also have a short guide for JETs, a distillation of sempai knowledge and experience: JETting Off - Our Guide for New JETs

HELPING EX-JETS SETTLE IN

We understand how difficult the transition can be when trying to settle back home. Please contact us anytime with what you're looking for.

We work together with CLAIR who host a yearly Careers Night to help create opportunities for Ex-JETs and anyone interested in a career with connections to Japan or Japanese companies.

CLAIR also provides career support resources on their website.

OTHER JET RESOURCES

AJET Resources

The Association for Japan Exchange and Teaching (AJET) is a volunteer organisation of JET Programme participants. They have a lot of great resources, including information on mental health support and counselling.

CLAIR Resources

The official JET Programme site has comprehensive guides for JETs, such as the General Information Handbook, and guides for ALTs and CIRs. Information about seminars, internships and after JET career support are also available.

Life After JET

JET can't last forever. When you're thinking and planning for your future, hearing what past JETs have to say might help. The Life After JET podcast features the stories and careers of the JET alumni, on iTunes and Soundcloud.
